How to Install nbdkit software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

nbdkit software package provides toolkit for creating NBD servers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install nbdkit

nbdkit is installed in your system.

Make ensure the nbdkit package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nbdkit *

You will get with nbdkit package name, version, architecture and description in a table
